ROSEMEAD STREET FAIRE
The Rosemead Street faire
was a fun event held on April 28, 2007. There were 3
teams participating with the usual categories of
chicken, ribs, pull pork, and brisket. The day was a
home town event. Rosemead was celebrating their 80th
anniversary as a city. There were vendors and lots of
entertainment throughout the day. The sounds of Glen
Miller could be heard in the morning and a country band
in the afternoon, with local talent keeping the crowd
dancing and singing.
We finished 1st
overall as all the categories were added together. Next
year promises to be a big success as they plan to have
the BBQ sanctioned through the Kansas City Barbecue
Society. This is one event that competition BBQ’s will
be sure to add to their list of great events! Thanks to
Marc Brammer for all of his hard work in making this
event a fun filled day.
