ALL HOGS GO TO HEAVEN WIN "ANYTHING BUTT" CATEGORY

The Best Dam Barbecue cook-off competition was held on 25 and 26 May in Boulder City, Nevada home of the Nevada championship and is sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS).  Thirty-One cookers from California, Arizona, Utah, and New York competed in this annual event sponsored by the Boulder City Rotary Club. 

This BBQ competition is a great venue for family activities as well as a classic car show.  We set up on Friday morning and enjoyed visiting with all the other teams as they arrived.  We were parked next to QN4U who ended up getting the Grand Champion!  Congratulations to them and all the other winners.  We placed 1st in the Anything Butt Category and 7^th overall in the Best Dam Barbecue cook-off.  We got 8^th in Chicken, 7^th in Ribs, 12^th in Brisket, and 9^th in Pork.  Boulder City is a great place for family fun with the park, bands, and great food.
