2011 Barn Bash

The Antelope Valley
Livestock Council completed another successful Barn
Bash. The second annual event raised $41,880 with
$3,282 going into the scholarship fund for the Antelope
Valley Livestock Council. The Antelope Valley livestock
exhibitor’s hard work and donor’s generosity paid off
with new improvements in the livestock area for this
year’s Antelope Valley Fair. The barn bash includes
dinner, live and silent auctions, and brings 4-H, FFA,
Grange, and Independent youth to help support this
function.
All Hogs go to Heaven
Competition BBQ Team donated their time and effort again
by provided a Pull Pork BBQ Dinner. There was a head
table with 8 of last years top five buyers which were
treated to a prime rib dinner presented by the team.
This years head table was served a prime rib dinner with
all the trimmings by All Hogs go to Heaven Pitmaster
Steve Madaule. During the auction the head table was
auctioned for the 2012 barn bash and raised $3,000.
All
hogs go to Heaven prides itself on supporting service
and community events as a way to give back. Team members
participating in this charity event were Steve, Vicki,
and Vince Madaule, Ted and Ardith Richardson, and Hector
Mariscal.
